AllChimes.org  ..... All Tower Bells ..... Chimes our specialty.

July 9-23, 2013 --- London, and Stratford-upon-Avon

It seems that U.S. chimers have shown little collegiate pride in their craft.  ALLCHIMES, among things, was meant to swell the inquisitiveness of those who practice this craft.  How can one not want to acquaint themselves with the bell tower a few miles down the road?  Just as your instrument is special to you, a look at any instrument will amaze you at how differently each one works to produce the same music as yours.

This trip came about thru the collaboration of KEVIN JONES, "Kev's Guide to Church Bells Around the World" a compilation, for our purposes, that does incredible justice locating towers in England, Ireland and Scotland; JOE CONNORS, North American Tower Bell Historian and WWW.ALLCHIMES.ORG, and Gayle Walrath, an accomplished chimer.  10,235 UK entries is no mis-print.

Kevin surprised us by taking four days from work, and took us on one day trips from Stratford-on-Avon, showed us towers, a bell foundry and countryside that follows.

If these don't excite you, I don't know what will.

London, July 10-13, 2013, on our own.
