Crawls, events. The last one was in Coburg, Ontario, June 11-13, 2010 ... The Canadians are North America's best chime caretakers, by a mile. ... They also host a great event every year. Five Cornell alumni chimesmasters now living in the Boston area participated in three 2010 one hour chime concerts in the summer of 2012 at the First Unitarian Society in West Newton, MA (FUSN). They were joined by other players from FUSN. These should have been exciting. It will be nice for us 'normal' chimers to see how these 22 bell chimers have transitioned to the outside world of old 8-11 bell chime sets. |
